As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a critical role in performing different orthodontic procedures with the doctor. You will be responsible for: - Reviewing the patient treatment plan and preparing each procedure prior to the patient’s appointment. - Educating the patient on the treatment given during their visit. - Assisting the Orthodontist chairside in all aspects of treatment. - Accurate charting and documentation in the patient’s treatment plan. - Creating a comfortable environment for the patients and caregivers - Providing patients and families with clear orthodontic care instructions and oral health education. - Maintaining a thorough understanding of office policies and clinical procedures. - Taking x-rays, digital scans, and photos for patient treatment.
