**Operations Permit Agent** **POSITION SUMMARY** The Operations Permit Agent is responsible for applying for permits, scheduling permit inspection appointments and providing support to the Permits and Public Access Manager. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** - Provide service to customers, route calls and questions accordingly. - Assist with necessary research, preparation, submittal and maintenance of all applicable permit orders: applications, inspections, and payments of permitting fees. - Assist with maintaining, tracking, routing and scheduling of permit applications and permit orders. - Assist with the management, compliance and scheduling of all required permit inspections with appropriate governing jurisdictions having authority. - Assist in the management of initial compliance requirements of all orders to ensure all applicable permits/licensing is applied and forwarded to the appropriate governing jurisdictions having authority. - Contacts customers to confirm scheduled permit inspections by performing within Acorn policy, procedure and customer service guidelines. Liaisons directly with the Permit and Public Access Manager. - Updates notes for permit orders in the client database and/or job(s) to ensure that they have the required information for the permit and permit inspections; permit number, Inspector, Inspector’s phone number, date of appointment and time of appointment, as well as any other information needed, as required. - Assist with the management all documents and/or documentation of all permits, inspections and usage turned over, with the associated governing jurisdictions having authority, and within the customer account, system job, system files (electronic and/or physical). - Liaise with the Acorn scheduling department. - Complies with all directions and instruction from Acorn regarding health and safety. - Carries out other tasks as requested by management of which employee is capable of performing. - NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
