We’re looking for a Operations Associate - Retail to join our Dubai team. In this role, you’ll help us support daily in-store operations across Deliveroo’s retail partner network. You’ll drive operational excellence, improve store performance, and maintain high service standards across multiple locations, working closely with store managers and staff to ensure stock accuracy and efficient order preparation. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Here’s what your day-to-day might look like: - Monitor site performance using key metrics such as B10s, rejections, missing items, and cancellations, and identify performance gaps. - Conduct root cause analysis on operational issues and implement corrective actions. - Deliver on-site training to store staff on Deliveroo SOPs, including picking accuracy, substitution handling, and order prioritization. - Maintain documentation of site visits, issues identified, and actions taken, and provide regular performance updates. - Perform basic hardware and technical checks on store devices (tablets, SIMs) and escalate issues when required. - Collaborate closely with store managers and staff to ensure stock accuracy and efficient order preparation. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO THRIVE Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others: - Strong problem-solving and communication skills with high attention to detail. - Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments. - Familiarity with mobile/tablet applications and basic troubleshooting. - Valid UAE driving license and access to a personal vehicle. - Willingness to travel across multiple locations and spend extended time on-site. - Experience in grocery, retail, or delivery operations is a plus. WORKING HOURS This is a full-time field role, typically aligned with store operating hours. Associates are expected to work 5 days per week, with flexibility required based on operational needs and site coverage plans. WHY JOIN US?
