As an ML Data Operations Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting our Machine Learning (ML) team by preparing high-quality datasets that fuel model training and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for data extraction, annotation, and labelling, ensuring accuracy and compliance with defined SLAs. This position reports directly to the Senior ML Data Operations Manager. Prepare, clean, and validate datasets for ML model training in alignment with project SLAs. Perform data extraction, annotation, and labelling to enhance the quality of ambient notes and ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) outputs. Collaborate with ML engineers to ensure datasets meet technical and clinical requirements. Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide structured feedback on user outputs, product bugs, and potential improvements. Mentor and train new ML Data Ops Associates, fostering a culture of excellence and consistency. Consistently meet productivity and quality benchmarks set by the organization. Ok, you are sold, but what are we looking for in the perfect candidate? Quality First: Deliver 100% accurate, high-quality service while adhering to HIPAA rules and regulations. Critical Thinking: Apply clinical knowledge and medical expertise to identify subtle errors in documentation. Collaboration: Work effectively with peers and ML teams, contributing to product improvements and annotation workflows. Self-Motivation: Demonstrate passion for achieving goals and the ability to work independently. Mentorship: Support the growth of the team by training and guiding new associates. Consistency: Maintain productivity and quality standards in line with company objectives. Qualifications: Minimum 12 years of experience in Medical Transcription or Medical Scribing. Strong understanding of medical documentation and terminology. Proven experience in medical transcription or scribing (mandatory). Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with mastery of English grammar, punctuation, and style. Typing speed of 60+ words per minute with strong computer and listening skills. Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy. Highly self-motivated with strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Prior experience in data labelling or annotation is a plus. Why Join Us?
