Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing healthcare team. Duties - Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients in regular out patient clinic and Dual Diagnosis PHP and IOP. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. - Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals and groups. - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment. - Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies. - Document patient interactions accurately in medical records. Skills - Minimum 2 yrs experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Physician Assistant required. - Experience in medical office settings with a strong understanding of patient care protocols. - Experience working in outpatient settings, providing flexible care tailored to individual needs. - Experience prescribing Naltrexone, Vivitrol, Suboxone, Subutex, and Sublocade preferred.
