Our tutors choose the jobs that fit their expertise and schedule, and our growing partnerships with school districts mean a steady pipeline of meaningful work — especially in special education, where demand continues to outpace supply. **Requirements** - **Bachelor's degree required** (degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field preferred) - **Experience working with students who have learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, or other special education needs** — whether as a credentialed SPED teacher, paraprofessional, interventionist, or tutor - **Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and common accommodations** (extended time, chunked instruction, multi-sensory approaches, etc.) - **Ability to design and deliver lesson plans** aligned to student goals and accommodations - **Strong virtual instruction skills** — comfort with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged online - **Ability to pass a background check** - **Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace** **Preferred (not required):** - Active or previous teaching credential, especially in Special Education - Experience with specific methodologies such as Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading, or structured literacy - Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus - Flexible schedule — work when you want - 100% remote - Set your own hourly rate - Consistent flow of students matched to your expertise - Opportunity to make a real difference for students who need it most
