This role is integral to ensuring the safe administration of oncology therapies while supporting patients and families throughout their treatment journey. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychosocial, and educational needs, prior to and during treatment - Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and supportive medications - Monitor patients for treatment tolerance, adverse reactions, and side effects, initiating appropriate interventions as needed - Provide patient and family education on diagnosis, treatment plans, symptom management, medications, and follow-up care - Collaborate closely with oncology providers, pharmacy, laboratory, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and efficient care delivery - Manage central lines - Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) - Provide emotional support and advocacy for patients and families throughout the cancer care journey
