Job Overview The ONN serves as a dedicated clinical partner for members navigating a cancer diagnosis, providing personalized education, care coordination, and ongoing support throughout the treatment and survivorship journey. Location: Dallas, TX & New York, NY— hybrid position. Candidates must be Dallas or New York City area based. Remote days require a private, secure home workspace free from other employment, caregiving, or school obligations during working hours. Shift: Thursday - 1-9pm CST (2-10pm EST) Monday-Wednesday & Friday - 9-5pm CST (10-6pm EST) Responsibilities: Manage a full, active caseload of members with cancer diagnoses, providing individualized navigation, education, and clinical support from diagnosis through survivorship. Conduct comprehensive oncology intake assessments to establish member needs, goals, and care priorities. Educate members and families on diagnosis, treatment options, clinical pathways, and available resources using evidence-based, NCCN-aligned and ONCC-aligned guidance. Coordinate multidisciplinary care by facilitating communication between members, treating providers, and the broader LCC team. Identify and address barriers to care including psychosocial, financial, and logistical needs; connect members with appropriate support resources. Complete accurate, timely documentation of all member interactions and clinical activities within Lantern's care management platform. Complete all outreach, follow-ups, and care coordination tasks within defined timeframes. Participate in call auditing processes and consistently apply feedback to maintain and improve quality of care delivery. Collaborate closely with the Lead ONN, LCSWs, Medical Records Specialists, Care Advocates, and cross-functional partners. Contribute to team meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives. Adhere to Lantern workflows, clinical protocols, and documentation standards at all times. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) Active RN license in a compact state with unencumbered ability to be licensed in all 50 states Minimum 3 years of oncology nursing experience Active ONCC certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN) with unencumbered ability to maintain certification throughout employment Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with NCCN guidelines and ClinicalTrials.gov Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment; must be Dallas area based Strong Candidates Will: Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and deep knowledge of oncology diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship care Communicate with empathy, cultural competence, and clinical precision in all member-facing interactions Be detail-oriented and disciplined in documentation, follow-through, and quality standards Maintain a full, balanced caseload while meeting all productivity and quality expectations Thrive in a fast-paced, technology-enabled environment and adapt readily to frequent process changes Work effectively as part of a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team Approach complex or ambiguous clinical situations with sound independent judgment Demonstrate a genuine commitment to equitable,…
