POSITION SUMMARY: The Alpine Chalet On-Site Leasing Manager oversees the day-to-day operation of a BYU-Idaho Approved Housing community, with a focus on leasing performance, budget management, rent collection,, and resident satisfaction. This is a live-in position reporting to the Area Leasing Manager, and requires full compliance with BYU-Idaho Approved Housing standards and Idaho fair housing law. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee all leasing activities, including lease generation and processing move-ins, move-outs, and transfers Monitor the Entrata dashboard and Tenant Information System (TIS) daily, verifying student eligibility and maintaining accurate resident records Collect rent, manage delinquency, and oversee security deposits and contract administration Ensure the community follows the BYU-Idaho Approved Housing Guidebook, Uniform Physical Condition Standards, and all applicable fair housing and Idaho housing laws Conduct regular property inspections and walks, and prepare the community for annual inspections with the Housing & Student Living Office Address resident and guarantor concerns, service animal and pet requests, and follow up on resident work orders Submit weekly and monthly reports to the Portfolio Manager, including budget performance and KPI updates Plan and execute resident activities and community events, and oversee marketing efforts and online review responses Attend BYU-Idaho Housing & Student Living Manager Forums and complete required training. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of property management experience Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in student housing or multifamily property management Experience managing to budgeted P&L expectations Proficiency with Google Apps, Microsoft Office, and property management software (Entrata preferred) Must live on-site in the provided apartment and maintain a presence respected by students as an advocate for Student Living principles Adherence to "Manager Code of Conduct" including the university dress and grooming standards.
