**Summary** The Clinician for the Young Adult Access Center will serve as a resource for the entire Access Center Team. This individual will provide on site individual/ group supervision weekly and work with team members around their own self-care needs. This individual will assist the Access Center staff with complex clinical cases and referrals and respond to traumatic situations in a timely manner, while also providing support to the staff members who are impacted. This individual will help minimize Young Adult (client) risk while supporting positive risk-taking and growth. They will support Young Adults to connect to services/ supports. This individual reports directly to the Young Adult Access Center Senior Manager. **Child and Family Services recognizes the power in Diversity and believes that Equity is a Human Right.** **$1 per hour Language Differential! (eligible languages include: Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, Spanish or ASL)** **PART-TIME 8 HOURS/WEEK** **Child & Family Services carefully considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation including, but not limited to, prior experience, education, certification(s), license(s), skills and expertise, location, internal equity and other factors that are job related and consistent with business need. Therefore, final offer amounts may vary from the amount stated.** **Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions** *Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.* - Serve as a resource to the entire Access Center team - Provide individual and/or group supervision every other week - Works with team members around their own self-care - Assists the staff with complex cases and referrals - Respond to traumatic situations in a timely manner and provide support to staff members who are impacted - Support Young Adults to connect to services/ supports - Attend team meetings as needed - Meet with Senior Manager as needed - Meet with Program Director weekly **Other Duties** Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice. **Required Education and Experience** Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or another license eligible degree. **Must be licensed (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT or LADC-I)** with experience in working with young adults, and providing clinical supervision to direct care staff. Understanding of Youth/Young Adult (YYA) behavioral health needs and systems of care is required with strong diagnostic skills to assist the Access Center team with appropriate referrals for YYA and families. It is important that this individual has an understanding of and commitment to the Access Center model and principles, policy recommendations for preventing suicide, and the Young Adult Peer Mentor practice profile. Experience working with peer mentors and family partners preferred. **Cultural Competency Qualifications:** - Awareness of personal attitudes, beliefs, biases, and assumptions about others - Knowledge of the various dimensions of diversity, including gender, race, and ethnicity - Acknowledging that people from other cultural groups may not share the same beliefs and practices or perceive experiences in the same way - Cultural knowledge of key populations that will be served to address disparities in service delivery - Demonstrates positive attitudes towards cultural differences by showing respect and openness towards people whose social and cultural background is different from one's own - Demonstrates skills for communication and interaction across cultures, including the abi…
