Oil Chemical Tanker - 2nd Engineer

Assist the Chief Engineer in managing daily engine room operations. Supervise maintenance and repair of main engine, auxiliaries, and machinery. Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules. Monitor fuel, lube oil, and machinery performance. Lead engine room watchkeeping and manage engine crew. Ensure safety, pollution prevention, and compliance with regulations. Holder of a valid COC (STCW Reg III/2) with verification. Holder of valid STCW certifications required for the position. Experience in repairs and dry docking is required. Experience with a multicultural working environment. Good communication and leadership skills. Effective English communication. Safety culture and mindset. **VESSEL SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS** Minimum experience requirements: 8 months in rank on the same type/size of vessel. Experience on Electronic engines is mandatory. Experience in FRAMO and/or Steam Turbines cargo pump system is mandatory.
