Central Nevada Health District (CNHD) is looking for an Office Specialist in their Mineral County office to manage day-to-day administrative operations that support our Clinical Health Services. CNHD is dedicated to disease prevention, health education, and promoting community wellness and you’ll play a key role in making that work possible. This is a great opportunity for someone with office experience who is a self-starter and can work independently under general guidelines. The person in this position will act as a receptionist for the office and also will handle confidential medical information. The county pays 100% of the retirement contribution to PERS on your behalf (36.75% over and above your wage, equivalent to $8.18/hour or $17,000/year). The county pays 100% of the employee-only health insurance premiums (equivalent to $6.49/hour or $13,500/year). AND you will not have Social Security taken out of your paycheck, which results in an additional 6% take-home pay (equivalent to $1.34/hour or $2,770/year). Churchill County is recruiting for a full-time, regular Office Specialist to work in Mineral County, in our Central Nevada Health District (CNHD) office. The ideal candidate will have the following background and traits: - At least two years of full-time administrative support experience. - At least two years of administrative support experience in a medical office environment is strongly desirable. - Strong computer skills. - Bilingual ability in Spanish and English is desirable.
