We are hiring creative, motivated, and talented people with a passion for doing what's right, what's smart, and what works. **Description/Job Summary** Provides oversight to the Office of Geothermal technical support team which includes scientific, engineering, technical, and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development and implementation for complex systems meet technical requirements. Makes recommendations and advises on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts. Will provide programmatic planning and logistic support requiring attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks. Team Lead responsibilities are in addition to normal day-to-day job responsibilities and are anticipated to range from as little as 10% to up to 50% of the lead’s time. Being able to balance competing priorities is critical to the success of this position. Team Leads must have a proven track record of leading by example – producing high quality, timely deliverables; being proactive and engaged with the client; identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency; and being a mentor to all team members. **Duties/ Responsibilities** - Provide technical management, direction, and communication to a team of technical staff and subcontractors - Serve as the technical point of contact for Geo’s operations team to ensure adequate funding, staffing, and performance - Engage with the client on a regular basis to ensure needs and gaps are being addressed - Provide leadership and mentorship to team members by having regular meetings and check ins to discuss training needs, growth opportunities, goals, etc. - Prepare and conduct employee performance reviews - Address employee performance issues, working with upper management as appropriate - Work with client to define positions needed for program support, develop position descriptions, engage with recruiters to source candidates, and lead efforts to review candidates and set up interviews both internally and with the client as required - Approve employee work schedules, time off requests, and timesheets - Prepare/review final drafts of monthly reports, incorporating input from all team members and subcontractors - Maintain program wide travel spreadsheet and engage with upper management and the client to ensure funds are available and trips are prioritized as warranted - Collaborate with other Team Leads to share best practices, resources, updates - Assess workloads among team members to ensure timely and quality performance of client requested work products **Qualifications, Skills, and Experience** - Bachelor’s degree - 10+ years relevant experience - Proven success working in a multi-disciplinary environment where teamwork is essential. - Demonstrated oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. - Professional attitude, strong attention to detail, and highly proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Self-starter, an ability to work both independently and as part of a highly dynamic collaborative team. - Knowledge and e…
