**Mohave County Public Health Department is looking to fill the position of an Office Assistantto support both the Nursing and Nutrition and Health Promotion divisions in Colorado City.** **About the position** This role provides basic to intermediate administrative and clerical support for our Public Health Nursing staff including answering phones, assisting customers, preparing documents, and performing general clerical duties. Mostly working in an office setting handling appointments with WIC/potential participants in person, over the phone, and virtually. The position also requires screening for eligibility along with nutrition and breastfeeding counseling for the WIC program. There will be 3 months minimum training for the WIC portion of the position.
