Please check our** [**residency definition**](http://doa.alaska.gov/dop/recruitment/alaskaRes/)**to determine if you qualify.** **The Department of Administration, Division of Personnel is seeking a long-term non-permanent Office Assistant 2 in Juneau.** **What You Will Be Doing** The Division of Personnel Non-Permanent Office Assistant 2 will examine and scan physical file documents. The incumbent will provide necessary clerical services that require determining administrative and/or programmatic tasks to be completed, prioritizing work, and deciding the appropriate action to be taken based on interpretation and application of the organization`s programs, policies, and regulations. The Division of Personnel provides a work environment that successfully engages employees to work independently, as well as collaboratively on a team. Makes correct inferences; draws accurate conclusions. - **Oral Communication:** Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately High school diploma or the equivalent. AND One year of experience that includes clerical tasks such as greeting clients, answering phones, typing, filing, sorting mail, entering data, receiving payments, making change, or maintaining logs.
