## Description Occupational Therapist - Registered **QUALIFICATIONS:** - Fully certified and licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Michigan - Knowledgeable in current therapy techniques for students with various impairments **JOB FUNCTIONS:** - Provide occupational therapy services to students - Participate in multidisciplinary evaluations to evaluate or re-evaluate students suspected of having a disability - Interpret assessment findings and relate them to educational performance and needs - Consult with teachers, instructional aides and parents to implement intervention strategies and techniques - Write accurate, concise, evaluation reports based on the analysis of assessment data - Write goals that are highly appropriate to the situation and age of the student - Coordinate highly coherent service plans - Establish and maintain lines of productive and respectful communication between and among staff - Establish meaningful relationships with students in order to support service delivery - Participate in meetings, workshops, and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required of position **REPORTS TO:** Principal, Char-Em ISD Special Education Classrooms **APPLICATION DEADLINE**: Until Filled **CONTRACT LENGTH:** 190 days each school year **COMPENSATION:** Per the Master Agreement **BEGINNING DATE OF EMPLOYMENT:** August 24, 2026 **DATE POSTED:** July 14, 2026 The Charlevoix-Emmet Intermediate School District is an equal opportunity employer.
