We require 2 weekend shifts per month, 1 major and 1 minor holiday per year. Click here to learn more about the department *Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience.* *We are also proud to be consistently recognized as a top employer in both the D.C. metro area and the nation* **Occupational Therapist** **PRN** **Job Responsibilities:** - The Occupational Therapist PRN adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries. - Communicate effectively with patients, family, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts while completing all administrative tasks and other responsibilities in support of the operating unit. - Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols while performing re-evaluations, according to department guidelines, and adjusting the treatment plan as needed. - Selects evaluation and treatment methods appropriate to patients' diagnosis, age group, and physical/emotional status while formulating appropriate treatment plans. - May perform additional duties as assigned. **Minimum Qualifications:** - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy - Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start. - Licensure: VA Occupational Therapist License required upon start. **Preferred Qualification:** - Experience working in an acute care setting ### About the Company We are Inova, Northern Virginia’s leading nonprofit healthcare provider.
