Position Details Position Status: Regular Full Time Location: Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre, Occupational Therapy LTC BW Hours: 77.50 FTE: 1.00 Shift: Days Shift Times: 0700-1515 Union: HSAA Rate of Pay: $42.51 - $56.60 PCN: 261EOT001 Date Competition Closes: August 13, 2026 The Opportunity Position Summary: This position is responsible for providing client care through focused assessment, treatment and discharge planning on our rehabilitation and recovery units, and contributing to our resident's quality of life through provisions of appropriate interventions to maximize safe, functional independence on our continuing care units. Other duties may include providing clinical supervision to support staff and students. Responsible for other related duties as required. Program Summary: Chronic Complex Care – for adults living with a complex disease or life-threatening illness. The prime populations are adults on hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis, as well as people who need specialized respiratory support (i.e. tracheostomy and ventilator dependent). Qualifications & Experience: - Graduation from a recognized Masters or Degree program in Occupational Therapy Registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT); - Eligible for membership in CAOT; - AADL Authorizer is an asset. - Experience using occupational therapy in a clinical and/or continuing care setting an asset. New grad/provisional occupational therapists welcome.
