Occupational Therapist – Care Review

Liquid Personnel is seeking a highly experienced Occupational Therapist to support its client’s targeted Single-Handed Care Review project based in Shropshire. This specialist role requires advanced clinical expertise and a comprehensive understanding of equipment provision under the Care Act 2014. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in reviewing complex care packages and promoting safe, efficient single-handed care solutions. You will be responsible for conducting 10 single-handed care assessments per week over a 15-week period, focusing on evaluating existing care arrangements and recommending equipment to reduce reliance on carers while enhancing client independence and wellbeing. What will your responsibilities be? Performing single-handed care assessments Ordering and managing equipment needs Collaborating with Adult Social Care teams to reassess support plans Ensuring all work aligns with Care Act (2014) principles Qualifications & Experience: To be successful in this role you must have: Minimum 7 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist Formal training in single-handed care – must be clearly visible on CV HCPC registration Familiarity with the latest 12-month MOC exemptions for the West Midlands Car driver with access to a vehicle preferred Why Liquid Personnel?
