We believe in making a positive impact not just through our healthcare services but also by creating a supportive and collaborative environment for our team members. ## Requirements **Education and/or Experience** - The Occupational Therapist Assistant is a graduate of an associate's degree (A. A. or A.S.) in an accredited program of Occupational Therapy from a two-year college or university. - Six months to one year related experience and/or training required. **Certificates, Licenses, Registrations** - Current, active Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure for Colorado or a permit from the licensing board while awaiting licensure examination. - Current CPR Certification. **What You’ll Do** Performs duties in accordance with the Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) Scope of Practice, including: - Assists in examining patients with impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or other health-related conditions to implement the occupational therapist’s plan of care. - Implements and adjusts therapeutic interventions within the established plan of care to reduce impairments and functional limitations. - Promotes injury prevention, health, fitness, and quality of life across all age populations. This role assists the occupational therapist in delivering quality occupational therapy care across preventive, acute, and rehabilitative stages to promote functional independence and reduce functional decline. Provides care under the direction of the occupational therapist.
