The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for orthopedics and a thirst for continued knowledge and growth. - Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals within the scope of occupational therapy practice. - Deliver direct patient care using evidence-based interventions and established occupational therapy protocols, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes and patient safety. - Document assessment findings, treatment progress, and instructions provided to patients and their caregivers accurately and comprehensively in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements. - Develop written plans of care and establish measurable goals based on the initial evaluation findings, collaborating closely with patients and their interdisciplinary care team to ensure a holistic approach to rehabilitation. - Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment programs, incorporating therapeutic activities, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications to enhance patients' functional independence and quality of life. - Maintain effective communication with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members, including physicians and insurance providers, to coordinate care, address concerns, and optimize treatment outcomes. - Ensure timely completion of documentation, including progress notes, treatment summaries, discharge plans, and incident reports, to support continuity of care and facilitate reimbursement for services rendered. ## Qualifications - Graduate from an accredited college with an AOTA curriculum - Current state of Georgia OT license, CPR certification - Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills - Outgoing and energetic personality - New graduates are welcome! ## Additional Information - Located in Jasper Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.
