## **Employment Type:** Part time ## **Shift:** Rotating Shift # **Description:** At **Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center**/**Mount Sinai Rehabilitation/Behavioral Health** the Assistant Nurse Manager—internally classified as Nursing Supervisor – NL I—supports the Nurse Manager in administrative and managerial duties while guiding the healthcare team in delivering best clinical practices within the behavioral health setting. **What you will do:** - Assist the Nurse Manager in overseeing unit personnel and maintaining a safe, efficient, and supportive nursing environment. - Supervise charge nurses and frontline staff, contributing to staff coordination, scheduling, and throughput. - Participate in hiring, performance management, and staff development. - Promote a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement. - Lead by example, fostering respectful communication, collaboration, and professional growth. - Support evidence-based practices and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. - Drive effective patient care outcomes and operational performance through transformational leadership. # **Minimum Qualifications**: **Required:** - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). - Valid RN license in Connecticut. - The ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of experience in Behavioral Health nursing along with - The ideal candidate will have experience in Behavioral Health nursing (2+ years) and leadership roles such as, Charge Nurse, Supervisor, Assistant Nurse Manager (2+ years). **Preferred:** - BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross). **Position Highlights:** - Per Diem-Rotating Schedule **Ministry/Facility Information** **Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital’s** Behavioral Health Services include a full range of mental health and substance abuse treatment programs for all ages.
