This position is based at Royal Oaks Hospital, a subsidiary of Compass Health Network. ### Key Responsibilities • Deliver trauma-informed, patient-centered nursing care for children and adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric setting • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate individualized care • Monitor, assess, and document patient progress, ensuring safety and quality standards are met • Provide education and emotional support to patients and families • Mentor and support new nursing team members to promote professional growth • Participate in ongoing quality improvement and continuing education efforts ### Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise • Associate’s degree in nursing required • Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred **WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS** At least one year of psychiatric experience preferred **LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:** RN or GN that must pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation required **You’ll Be a Great Fit for This Role if You:**• Are passionate about supporting children and adolescents experiencing mental health challenges • Communicate calmly and effectively, even in stressful situations • Value teamwork and collaboration in a multidisciplinary setting • Are motivated to provide compassionate, evidence-based care **\*Retention bonuses paid as per bonus policy; exclusions may apply.**
