Incorporates principles of adult learning in planning, implementing, and evaluating education programs. Plans, prepares, and maintains materials for educational programs, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the target audience. Assists students and practicing nurses in identifying learning needs, strengths, and opportunities. Coordinates orientation of new staff, including agency personnel, into the organization. Evaluates the effectiveness of educational programming and adjusts content and teaching strategies based on learner needs. Tracks educational offerings and shares information with unit leadership as needed. Provides educational opportunities that benefit nurses in all stages of career development. Supports the bedside nurse with Professional Enhancement Program (PEP) and participates in residency programs as assigned. Other duties as assigned.**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** • Knowledge of professional nursing principles, practices, concepts, and procedures as applied to the care of the patient population served. • Knowledge of adult learning principles, methods of education delivery, and ability to facilitate learners’ achievement of the education objective. • Computer skills in Microsoft Office and adaptability to new software programs. • Effective communication skills. • Ability to make realistic and practical recommendations for problem-solving. • Demonstrates a professional, committed, and dynamic role model. • Strong presentation skills and interpersonal skills. • Ability to demonstrate an uncompromising commitment to delivering exceptional care to create an unmatched value proposition for clinicians and patients. • Ability to build trust and act with authenticity to cultivate a culture of integrity, inclusion, and mutual respect. • Ability to make timely, informed decisions that are in the best interest of patients, employees, providers, community, and the organization. • Ability to develop and strengthen collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to advance patient care and organizational growth. • Ability to lead others to accomplish organizational goals and objectives; provide meaningful coaching and mentoring to increase the capabilities of individuals and teams and drive employee engagement. • Ability to deliver information in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to effectively engage others and achieve desired results. • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation, remove barriers and resistance, and enable desired behaviors. • Ability to use independent judgment and decision-making in the execution of supervisory responsibilities. • Working knowledge of the appropriate accrediting body. • Experience with Database Management System. • Nursing research background. **Education:** • Bachelor's of Nursing [Required] • M…
