Job Summary The Operations Program Manager (OPM) will play a critical role in scaling the production of Formlabs' 3D printers and ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing operations in the Shenzhen Bay area. You will be a key leader in new product introduction (NPI), managing the entire lifecycle from concept to mass production. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams in engineering, supply chain, quality, and production, both internally and with our manufacturing partners. Key Responsibilities Lead NPI programs for new 3D printers and accessories, ensuring successful product launches that meet quality, cost, and delivery targets. Develop and execute comprehensive manufacturing plans, including capacity planning, production scheduling, and materials management. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles are implemented and to resolve any production challenges. Manage relationships with contract manufacturers and other key suppliers in the region, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules. Identify and implement process improvements to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Proactively manage risks and issues, developing mitigation plans and escalating concerns as needed. Communicate program status and updates to key organizational stakeholders, including executive leadership. Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. MBA is considered a plus 5+ years of experience in operations program management, preferably in the consumer electronics or high-tech manufacturing industry. Results-oriented and attention to detail Proven track record of successfully launching new products into mass production. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and supply chain management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies. Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese. Ability to travel up to 40%
