Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years. About The Team The Voyager team is an elite engineering and design division specializing in cutting-edge computing and communication solutions at the network edge. We integrate enterprise networking capabilities with robust hardware and software platforms built to thrive in the most demanding environments. The company is scaling rapidly, and we are looking for an NPI Engineer who is excited to solve complex scaling challenges and build the future of defense hardware. The Mission As an NPI Engineer, you will be the vital technical bridge connecting our Product Development (R&D) team, the Production Department, and our external contract manufacturers. We don't just build things on a lab bench; we scale them for the real world. Your mission is to take ambiguity, incomplete designs, and early prototypes from R&D and translate them into solid, high-yield, and repeatable builds that can be seamlessly scaled in production. You will work with cutting-edge technology—including next-generation processors that haven't even been released to the wider market yet—and play a key role in delivering high-stakes hardware programs What You Will Do Bridge the Gap: Act as the technical anchor between R&D, test engineering, production, contract manufacturers, finance, and legal. Manage Product Data: Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and drive the Engineering Release and Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes using our PLM systems. Lead Scale Up & Validation: Design and execute product and process validations to prove that a design built once on a desk can be successfully built by the hundreds on the production floor. Active Project Ownership: Partner with experienced engineering mentors to run prototyping, initial engineering builds, and design verification. You will start with more straightforward products (like radio brackets and accessories) to master our systems, eventually taking full, autonomous ownership of major product lines. Collaborate in Agile Environments: Attend product development SCRUMs and cross-functional meetings, keeping all stakeholders aligned on schedule, quality, and technical requirements. Optimize Manufacturing: Analyze existing products and processes for failure analysis, identifying opportunities for design-for-manufacturability (DFMA) and continuous improvement. Who You Are (Required Qualifications) Education: Degree in Electronic, Mechatronic, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in the electronics industry, specifically working with printed circuit boards (PCBs/PCBAs), cables, fan assemblies, and complex electromechanical integrations. Systems Savvy: Proven experience managing data within PLM systems such as PTC Windchill or Teamcentre. Experience working with MRP systems (like Oracle or SAP Business One) is highly desired. Standards & Validation: Solid working experience in an ISO9001 certified environment, with a strong grasp of product and process validation methodologies. The "T-Shaped" Engineer: You possess a broad understanding of multiple business domains (from hardware engineering to supply chain and finance) alongside deep technical competence in electronics manufacturing. Assertive Communicator: You are articulate and have the confidence t…
