This role ensures consistency, excellence in patient care, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.n nKey ResponsibilitiesnMedical DevelopmentnnnMaintain and enhance medical protocols to optimize patient care and operational efficiency.nnnPartner with the Director of Medical Development to ensure trainings and resources effectively support nursing teams.nnnCollaborate with facility medical staff to drive consistent, high-quality clinical practices.nnnIntegrate evidence-based treatments and emerging modalities into existing assessments and procedures.nnnResearch and evaluate new interventions and best practices for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions.nnnMedical Training & Process ImprovementnnnFacilitate meetings, trainings, and interventions to model effective clinical processes.nnnConduct independent and co-facilitated trainings across inpatient and outpatient settings.nnnEvaluate proficiency of nursing teams through on-site observation to identify development opportunities.nnnTravel as needed to conduct audits, provide coaching, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.nnnQuality AssurancennnPerform weekly chart audits to ensure consistent documentation and adherence to standards of care.nnnLead quarterly reviews to monitor compliance with company medical protocols and best practices.nnnCollaborate with operations leadership to identify strengths and areas for improvement across programs.nnnSupport the Director of Medical Development with utilization review and quality assurance initiatives.nnn nQualificationsnnnActive RN or LPN license (required)nnnMinimum 2 years of nursing experience in substance use disorder and/or behavioral health settingsnnnLeadership or supervisory experience (preferred)nnnStrong clinical judgment and crisis management skillsnnnKnowledge of healthcare regulations and EMR systemsnnnBLS/ACLS certification (preferred)nnn nWhy Join Avenues?nAt Avenues, our people are our greatest strength.
