Our caregivers are the heart of our organization, and we are committed to supporting them with training, flexible scheduling, and a team that values compassion, integrity, and excellence. **About the Role** United Home Care is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers for afternoon and evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. This role is ideal for caregivers who enjoy helping clients with their evening routines, providing companionship, and ensuring clients are safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the evening. **Responsibilities** - Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and evening hygiene routines - Prepare and serve dinner while encouraging proper nutrition and hydration - Provide companionship and meaningful conversation - Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention - Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization - Support medication reminders as outlined in the care plan - Observe and report changes in client condition - Complete accurate shift documentation and communicate with the care team **Qualifications** - Caregiving, home care, CNA, HHA, or related experience preferred - Compassionate, dependable, and professional - Strong communication and time management skills - Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if transportation is required) - Ability to safely assist with personal care and mobility - Willing to complete a background check, TB clearance, and required onboarding **Preferred Experience** - Dementia or Alzheimer's care - Parkinson's disease, post-hospital recovery, or mobility assistance - Experience with gait belts, walkers, wheelchairs, and transfer assistance - Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus **Why Join United Home Care?** - Competitive weekly pay $20-$25/hr + mileage (as applicable) - Flexible scheduling with consistent afternoon and evening shifts - Paid training and continuing education opportunities - Supportive office team available when you need us - One-on-one client assignments - Opportunities for career growth and advancement If you're passionate about helping others and want to be part of a team that truly values its caregivers, we'd love to hear from you.
