Night Warehouse Associate - Seasonal

**Summary** Night Warehouse Associates play a pivotal role at Columbia Distributing. They are responsible for picking and preparing customer orders accurately for our delivery team. Working as a team is a critical part of this position's success. **Primary Responsibilities** - Accurately pick customer orders using an electric pallet jack and/other provided technology - Perform all duties related to shipping and picking picking-to-pallet of products - Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards - Demonstrate positive, cooperative, and team-oriented behavior with co-workers, supervisors, managers consistent with those of the Company's Core Values at all times - Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned **Key Competencies** - Safety minded - Active listening - Accountability & integrity - Team player & strong work ethic - Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meet deadlines - Effective organizational and time management skills - Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals **People Management** None **Work Environment** This job operates mostly indoors with occasional outdoor work. **Physical Demands** - Lift/carry/push/pull 50 lbs. repetitively and up to 165 lbs. - Bend/stoop/crouch/squat/ use arms/wrists/hands/grasp - Ability to hear - **Expected Hours of Work** This is a Seasonal position; days and hours of work vary and may include weekends and overtime. **Travel** None **Required Education and Experience** - Minimum of 18 years of age **Preferred Education and Experience** - Experience in a warehouse, with logistics or material handling - Experience using a Pallet Jack - High school diploma or GED **Compensation** - Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location. - Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
