About This Opportunity CTI Staffing is partnering with a leading utility organization to find a Senior Network Engineer for their infrastructure team based in Phoenix, AZ (hybrid). This team owns the design, deployment, and ongoing health of a complex, multi-vendor enterprise network supporting critical operations. You'll be the engineer other teams turn to when something needs to work right the first time, and when it doesn't, you'll be the one who fixes it fast. What You'll Do - Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network solutions across multiple vendor platforms - Troubleshoot and resolve network performance issues and outages - Collaborate cross-functionally to implement network security and optimization strategies - Maintain and update network documentation and configurations - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members - Evaluate and recommend network infrastructure improvements - Support physical installation and maintenance work in data center environments - Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response ### Requirements What You Bring Must-Have: - 7+ years of professional networking experience at the engineer level - Advanced proficiency with enterprise switching platforms - Strong expertise in routing and switching protocols and architecture - Hands-on experience with multi-vendor networking equipment - Demonstrated experience with next-gen firewall and security solutions - Solid understanding of cloud networking and integration (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - Comfortable with physical data center work, including equipment installation at heights and standing/moving for extended periods Nice-to-Have: - CCIE certification - CCNP certification or equivalent - Network automation and scripting experience (Python, Ansible) - Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies - Familiarity with network monitoring and analytics tools Technical Environment: - Enterprise routing/switching platforms, next-gen firewalls, cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP) What Success Looks Like: - Full ownership of network health and performance within the first 3 months - Proactive identification and resolution of infrastructure risk points - Established as a go-to technical resource for the broader team
