Mortgage Default Specialist - Claims & REO

## The Default Specialist - Claims & REO will be a key member of the UWM Servicing Oversight team whose focus is testing and analyzing default and non-performing loans. As a Master Servicer, UWM ensures its sub-servicers are adhering to all guidelines by performing monthly tests for validation and remediation as necessary. The Specialist will work closely with servicing leaders at UWM as well as the associated sub-servicers to ensure that all Federal, State, CFPB, and other guidelines are followed. **This role requires 100% onsite attendance in our Pontiac office.** ## WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING - Performing oversight tests on non-performing loans - Analyzing test results by identifying potential risk to the borrower and business - Identifying and reporting test findings for remediation - Helping Internal Departments with identifying the root cause of errors - Effectively communicating with a wide variety of internal parties to resolve test findings - Updating job aids and tests for the Oversight team as needed ## WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU **Must Have Qualifications:** - 2 years of Default Servicing experience or equivalent knowledge - Strong knowledge of Federal and Agency Servicing guidelines and procedures for FHLMC, FNMA, and GNMA - Great analytical and problem solving skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Expert at MS Excel - Experience with MSP (Black Knight) - High School Diploma **Nice to Have Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree - Familiar with IAssit, FHA Connection, Valeri, and Docutech - Knowledge of servicing transfers with loans in default and loss mitigation ## THE PLACE & THE PERKS Ready to join thousands of talented team members who are making the dream of home ownership possible for more Americans?
