This role involves reviewing job orders and blueprints, setting up molds, adjusting parameters, and monitoring production to maintain optimal machinery conditions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Operate injection molding machine, ensuring the smooth and efficient production of simple polymer components. - Review job orders and simple blueprints to understand molding requirements. - Set up molds, adjust parameters, and monitor production, maintaining optimal operating conditions for the machinery. - Comfortable wearing respirator for different periods of time. - Cycle molding machine and monitor its progress while performing secondary operations such as deflashing, inspection, visual and mechanical application of lubricating grease, and packaging of finished product. - Inspect finished products for defects, following quality assurance guidelines and escalating quality issues when needed. - Use hand tools like files, hammer, scrapper, air nozzle to blow off excess and clean molds, maintaining cleanliness and functionality of equipment. - Apply silicone mold release with a brush to ensure things don’t stick, facilitating efficient production processes. - Perform sandblasting operations as required. - Document completed jobs, ensuring accuracy and prompt reporting of issues. - Meet department targets and consistently adhere to quality and safety standards. - Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules. - Work with departmental mentors to gain and apply feedback in pursuit of improved work quality. - Maintain regular and punctual attendance. - Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required. - Communicate effectively and respectfully with others. - Other responsibilities as assigned. **What you’ll Need to Succeed:** Job Requirements ( To select this job at a minimum you must have the following): - High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience. - Entry level experience in a production environment. - Ability to use hand tools. - Basic knowledge of machine controls and programs. - Ability to work independently and meet requirements of assigned materials requests. - Good communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to articulate information efficiently and effectively to team me…
