Model Maker - Finisher

The Industrial Design team is looking for an experienced Finisher to join our model making team. In this role, you will craft high-quality appearance models and physical mock-ups that bring design concepts to life, supporting the evaluation and communication of industrial design directions, forms, and product ideas. ## Description Finishers are skilled craftspeople responsible for delivering exceptional cosmetic hand finishing and painting on high-fidelity appearance models. They bring precision, consistency, and meticulous attention to detail to every stage of model assembly, while thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative design environment. To Apply, submit your resume along with samples or a portfolio of relevant work. ## Responsibilities Perform high-quality cosmetic hand finishing and painting on appearance models Conduct detailed model assembly with precision and consistency Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative design environment ## Minimum qualifications Strong hand finishing skills and experience with a wide range of materials and tools Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team ## Preferred qualifications 3–5 years of experience in product model making or a closely related discipline Demonstrated craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail Proficiency finishing plastics and metals across surface types (high polish to fine matte) Candidates with fewer years of experience but a strong portfolio and demonstrated initiative are encouraged to apply
