Mobility Technician, Day Shift, Acute Care Therapy

As a Mobility Technician, you will: • Performs functional assessments on all admissions, orients patients/family members to organization and provides Mobility type activities as delegated by the Manager, (Prospective Payment System -PPS) and Nurse Manager. This includes documentation of FIM and quality indicator documentation in performance improvement projects. • Performs direct patient care tasks as established and delegated by the Licensed Registered Nurse • Provides direct patient care limited to non-invasive procedures, includes activities of daily living, transfers and mobility • Performs various tasks as competency documentation designates, includes EKG’s, bladder scans, blood draw and specimen collection and communicates with the RN any variations or critical values. • Other specific duties may vary by area of assignment.
