We serve all individuals regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay. ## Job Description **Mobile Unit Driver** The Mobile Unit Driver will be responsible for the Mobile Unit. You can contribute pre-tax or after-tax (Roth) towards your retirement savings.** - **Flexible Spending Accounts** - **Basic Life and AD&D** - **Supplemental Life and AD&D** - **Short-Term & Long-Term Disability** - **Accident & Critical Illness Insurance** - **Employee Assistance Program** **Our Mission is to provide a quality, integrated healthcare home to the communities we serve** **Specific Duties:** - Drive the Mobile Unit from the assigned parking space to the scheduled location within the migrant program activities. - Inspect the Mobile Unit every time it will be used using the “Mobile Unit Inspection Report,” making sure the vehicle is in adequate conditions to be used - Monitors inventory from the Mobile Unit, assuring medical supplies are always sufficient before going out to a location - Provides reports of inventory (supplies) to the Migrant Health Director. - Keep the Mobile Unit clean (including sweeping and mopping of the floors, cleaning of counters and other surfaces of the Mobile Unit) - In case maintenance of the engine, chassis, or airstream is needed, schedule the repair through the Facilities Director - Works in conjunction with Medical Providers, Medical Assistants, Enrollment Specialists, Customer Service Associates, and all other staff to ensure that patients obtain the highest standard of integrated health care - Acts as a patient advocate for our vulnerable populations by ensuring that patients are fully informed and comfortable with their visit to Salud - Assists in ensuring the assurance of providing good quality services during visits to the Mobile Unit - Contributes to a positive team effort and accomplishes related results as required - Follows procedures for the electronic health records system - Assists with Salud facilities tasks and projects per the direction of the supervisor as time permits - Some early morning and evening hours, as well as weekends, are required - Other duties and locations as assigned ## Qualifications **Education:** - High school diploma or GED **Experience:** - Experience driving and maintaining large vehicles - 21 years of age or older and have a minimum of 3 years of licensed driving experience **Licensure/Certif…
