The Company’s products include an extensive offering of proprietary, exclusive, and national branded products with over 18,000 SKUs across multiple price points and applications. **Job Purpose / Summary:** The MSR I is a customer facing role whose primary responsibility is to successfully execute assigned restock routes, work with inside and outside sales team to establish new/existing business and manage sales to their assigned budget. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities:** The MSR I will be responsible for the following, but not limited to: - Travel to a pre-defined list of existing customers in a stocked van, enter orders from the customer, and fulfill items the customer has requested using inventory stocked on the van - Ensure van is stocked with necessary inventory + any special requests from customers, if applicable - Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential accounts tool and consumable usage - Submit orders using defined price guidance provided in company software - Understand tool product being used by customer - Understand customer requests and needs related to tools and consumables - Share information on potential sales opportunities for items not on the van to assigned Inside Sales rep - Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses. - Other duties as assigned **Qualifications & Education Requirements:** To perform the job successfully, an individual must have the following: - Excellent customer service skills - Valid driver’s license and clean driving record - Ability to use technology for order entry on-the-go - High school degree or secondary education Preferred characteristics: - Prior experience with stone fabrication and/or stone fabrication products - Bilingual (Spanish) a plus **Travel Required:** - Daily customer visits up to 12-15 customers/day - May require 1-2 day overnight trip per week depending on territory / route - Region would include Birmingham and surrounding cities **Working Conditions / Physical Demands:** - Operating power tools - Constantly operating a motor vehicle (full-sized van) - Occasionally lift/move objects up to 50 pounds - Frequently in a small and/or enclosed space
