This position is a hands-on field role responsible for executing mitigation and restoration tasks in accordance with industry standards and company procedures. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a willingness to learn and grow within a structured restoration environment. Participation in an on-call rotation is required. ***Key*** ***Responsibilities:*** - Perform water extraction, structural drying, mold remediation, and fire/smoke cleanup - Assess damage conditions and identify appropriate mitigation methods - Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain restoration equipment - Accurately document job details, processes, and equipment usage - Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members - Follow company safety policies, OSHA standards, and industry best practices - Assist with inventory control, equipment upkeep, and ongoing training initiatives - Deploy for regional or out-of-area storm events as required - Support other departments during catastrophic events when needed ***Required Skills & Experience:*** - 3–5 years of hands-on restoration experience (water, fire, mold) - Strong customer service and communication skills - Restoration software experience (Xactimate, Encircle, Proven Jobs, XactAnalysis, etc.) - Preferred Vendor Program experience strongly desired - Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset - Valid driver’s license and clean driving record - Willingness to work 40–50+ hours per week, including nights/weekends - Must pass background check ***Physical Requirements:*** - Medium to heavy physical labor; lifting up to 75+lbs - Ability to climb ladders up to 40’, crawl, bend, and work in confined spaces - Exposure to fire-, water-, mold-, and storm-damaged environments ***About Us:*** **DRYCOR RESTORE** is a **veteran-owned, full-service restoration firm** delivering professional mitigation and restoration services throughout the Greater Tampa Bay Area.
