Meter Reader - Physical - WV Meter Services - Fairmont White Hall Service Center

***FirstEnergy*** ***About the Opportunity*** This is an open position with Mon Power, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. [MP] **Responsibilities:** - Reading meters installed on customer premises, including visually checking for and reporting service diversion and meter irregularities. - Performing collection activities when assigned. - Performing single phase reconnects, disconnects and meter exchanges when assigned. - Performing duties in alignment with storm restoration efforts. - Performing other duties as assigned. - Use of personal 4WD or AWD vehicle required. **Qualifications:** - High school diploma or GED. - Must live within 40 minutes of the reporting service center. - Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. - Previous meter reading experience preferred. - Must possess and use an all-wheel or four-wheel drive vehicle to read meters (eligible for mileage reimbursement). - Ability to safely drive and walk in all types of weather over all types of terrain. - Ability to successfully deal with customers. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work overtime as needed. **Benefits, Compensation & Workforce Diversity** At FirstEnergy, employees are key to our success.
