Fred Finch Youth & Family Services partners with individuals and communities to provide culturally responsive services that cultivate mental and physical resilience and wellness. Fred Finch School Based Services are a full-service therapy program designed to help youth in elementary through high school to learn to succeed in school, improve their grades, attendance and interpersonal relationships with their peers and families. Our team members work closely with teachers, school staff, caregivers, parents, and participants to improve participants’ functioning at school and home. Each student is evaluated independently, and a customized action plan is developed for addressing each of the known barriers to success. Youth enrolled at identified schools in Mt. Diablo Unified School District, who have full-scope Medi-Cal, are eligible for services. **Work Schedule:** This is a 10-month, school-based position. The typical work timeframe is August - June, aligned with the academic calendar. **What You Will Do:** Under administrative and clinical supervision **(Mental Health Therapist I**) or consultation and direction **(Mental Health Therapist II**), provides behavioral health clinical intervention and recovery services to assigned participants and their families; develops treatment plans and performs individual, group, and family therapy, routine and emergency assessment, crisis intervention, and related treatment services; manages an assigned caseload of children, youth and/or young adult participants; provides consultation to other staff, programs, and agencies related to treatment needs and plans; and performs related duties as assigned. **Compensation:** - **Pay Schedule****:** This position is paid on a bi-weekly basis across 22 pay periods, aligned with the 10-month school-year calendar. - **Pay Range (Per Pay Period):** Final compensation is based on relevant experience, education, and qualifications. - *Mental Health Therapist I*: $2,704 - $3,440 - *Mental Health Therapist II:* $2,965.60 - $3,785.60 - **Stay-On Incentive**: Employees are eligible for a 3% stay-on incentive upon completion of a full work-year calendar. **Qualifications:** *Education:* **Mental Health Therapist I-II:** Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in social work, psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field; and - *Mental Health Therapist I* *:* One (1) year of internship experience providing mental health services in a behavioral health, clinic, residential, school-based, or community-based setting for children, youth, or young adults. - *Mental Health Therapist II* *:* Two (2) years of post-master’s experience providing professional mental health services in a behavioral health, clinic, residential, school-based, or community-based setting for children, youth, or young…
