We take that very seriously – because we care! **About the Position**: TCBH is hiring for a Mental Health Technician III, II, I, that would provide non-professional direct care for consumers of behavioral health treatment in an inpatient setting. This includes participation in de-escalation activities and assuring that consumers are kept safe, assist with activities of daily living, taking vitals, observing and recording patient behavior and activities, establish a therapeutic relationship with consumers, monitor and assist consumers within the facility to assure safety, and perform other duties as assigned. **Job Type/Salary:** - Open/Close dates: 2/20/2026 – until filled - Full-time - Hourly payrate: (Level III)-$17.59 (level II)-16.28 (Level I)-$15.10 - $1.00/hr differential for working in a direct care setting; $0.50/hr shift differentials when working evening or nights and $0.75/hr weekends and holidays - Primary hours: 3:00pm-11:00pm - FLSA Status: Non-Exempt - Primary Work Location/Department: TCBH – Admissions Department - Vacancies: Multiple **Minimum Qualifications and Experience:** - Level III-Two years of experience in providing patient care. - Level II-One year of experience in providing patient care. - Level I- No experience or education is required. **Special Requirements:** - Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background check. - Applicant must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license. - Upon a conditional offer of employment, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds. **Great Reasons to Work with Us:** ODMHSAS is proud to provide a robust benefits package designed to support our employees and their dependents. TCBH provides a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment that supports recovery and enhances quality of life for individuals and the community. The facility serves adults aged 18 and older who are experiencing a mental health crisis, with or without co-occurring substance use disorders, and who are medically stable. In response to the increasing need for mental health services in our community, TCBH is being replaced by a new facility, the Oklahoma Psychiatric Care Center (OPCC). Situated in the OSU Academic medical District in downtown Tulsa. This modern psychiatric hospital will feature 106 inpatient beds, an expanded residency program, and an enhanced range of behavioral health services. Construction of the OPCC is currently in progress. **Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Pre-placement Testing:** Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs.
