Working closely with the CWC Program Director, this position provides clinical supervision to mental health professionals, case managers, and other support staff. The Clinical Supervisor ensures regulatory compliance, promotes evidence-based crisis intervention practices, and helps create a safe, supportive environment for individuals in behavioral health crisis. **Key Responsibilities** **Staff Leadership & Supervision** - Participate in staff recruitment, interviewing, hiring, orientation, training, and performance supervision in alignment with agency policies, collective bargaining agreements, and applicable regulations. - Facilitate bi-weekly clinical supervision for assigned staff and conduct probationary (90-day) and annual performance reviews. - Develop, implement, and update Professional Development Plans for staff, reviewing progress quarterly. - Lead monthly clinical meetings for mental health professionals and case management teams. **Clinical Quality & Compliance** - Review clinical charts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with WAC, Medicaid, and CARF accreditation standards. - Ensure clinical services are client-centered, recovery-oriented, and aligned with agency policies. - Provide guidance on crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, and ethical practices. - Participate in seclusion and restraint debriefings to ensure compliance with policy and promote alternatives to restrictive interventions. **Program Support & Coordination** - Collaborate with the Program Director on staff training, professional development, and service delivery improvements. - Coordinate services with Clark County’s Designated Crisis Responders (DCRs) and court programs under RCW 71.05. - Serve as a resource for organizing supplies, managing operational needs, and filling in for floor staff coverage during low census or emergencies. - Maintain open communication between team members, leadership, and other agency departments. **Crisis Response & On-Call Duties** - Support ITA coverage as needed, including de-escalation training and intervention. - Be available after hours, weekends, and holidays for crisis or emergency situations as part of the on-call rotation with other CWC leadership. **Continuous Quality Improvement** - Monitor ethical, safety, and compliance concerns and take immediate action when necessary. - Ensure ongoing program evaluation and improvements to meet both client needs and regulatory standards. **Qualifications** **Required:** - Meets Washington State Mental Health Professional (MHP) qualifications per WAC. - Demonstrated clinical skills and experience providing treatment to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and substance use disorders. - Strong knowledge of recovery-oriented care, trauma-informed practices, and crisis intervention strategies. - Ability to work effectively with individu…
