The MHGF is responsible for planning and scheduling all mental health groups within the partial hospital program. The MHGF will also be responsible for the clinical documentation of each group. **Essential Responsibilities** 1. **Clinical and Support** 1. Implement the Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP). 2. Implement and monitor individual and group interventions in accordance with Mental Health Treatment Plan goals. 3. Meet with youth’s treatment team and assess psychoeducational and therapeutic needs. 4. Participate in all regularly scheduled in-service programs. 5. Follow designated program policy regarding the documentation of critical incidents. 6. Assist Mental Health Specialist with completion of Daily Progress Notes (DPNs) as needed. 7. Collect and share data on the group effectiveness and record progress for the Mental Health Treatment Plan. 8. Administer assessments and complete necessary documentation related to the assessments. 9. Develop and facilitate effective/psychoeducational groups and lessons utilizing provided curriculum/materials. 10. Follow program schedule of assigned groups. 11. Demonstrates a proficient level of cultural sensitivity. 12. Serves periodically on program committees, with the approval of the Program Director. 2. **Risk Management and Safety** 1. Implements school wide policies, procedures, and interventions. 2. Understands the threat assessment process. 3. Follows designated program policy regarding the documentation of critical incidents. 4. Follows program-designated procedures for all physical contact with students. 5. Follows program-designated procedures for student illness and injury, including arranging necessary medical care and informing appropriate persons of the situation, and documenting the injury/illness and actions taken. 6. Assist other staff, as needed, in interventions (TCI, Ukeru) to protect students and staff from injury. 7. Transports students when needed and maintain safe driving procedures. 3. **Documentation** 1. Complete written work that is accurate and uses professional clinical language. 2. Complete record-keeping procedures for team meetings, including preparation of information to report to teammates (e.g., daily group notes). 3. Complete daily group notes 4. Meet timelines for submitting paperwork. 4. **Supervision** 1. Receive supervision. 1. Receive supervision from and actively communicate with supervisor on an ongoing basis throughout the week by phone, email, written message and when possible, in person regarding program matters. 5. **Professional Development** 1. Attends periodically local, state, or national conferences and workshops, with the approval of the Program Director. 2.
