## General Purpose This position will provide friendly, fast, and accurate service to members, and be responsible for explaining various products and services as well as recognizing and suggesting solutions to member’s needs. The position will support the Credit Union by abiding by and maintaining knowledge of Credit Union policies and procedures to protect member confidentiality, member accounts, and Credit Union assets. ## Essential Responsibilities & Duties 1. Accurately perform teller transactions in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures, and in compliance with regulatory requirements and security procedures. 2. Receive checks and cash for deposit to savings & checking accounts, verify deposit amounts, and examine checks for endorsement, negotiability, and check-hold requirements. 3. Process withdrawals, transfers, credit card cash and line of credit advances, and loan payments. 4. Place stop payments, process gift cards, and complete required forms. 5. Process and review disputes for ACH/Share Draft/Cards. 6. Maintain cash drawer within prescribed cash limits and meet cash balancing requirements; dual-control for TCD and vault. 7. Provide friendly, fast and accurate service to members. 8. Explain various Credit Union products and services to members. 9. Perform specific and delegated duties as assigned. 1. Requires an equivalent of a high school level of language, math and reasoning skills, and at least 5 years of experience in consumer or mortgage lending related experience within a credit union or banking environment. 2. Thorough knowledge of regulations affecting Credit Union’s membership eligibility. 3. Excellent sales and customer service, and interpersonal communications skills. 4. Ability to protect and adhere to member privacy and confidentiality guidelines. 5. Good written communication skills. 6. Good math, reading, and comprehension abilities. 7. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. 8. Self-motivated and self-directed. 9. Good organization and time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects with minimal supervision. 10. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. 11. Ability to maintain accuracy and promptly complete duties with a high degree of attention to detail while meeting demanding deadlines. 12. Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions. 13. Working knowledge of English, spelling, and grammar. 14.
