Join us. - Perform a wide variety of tasks to assist in set-up, run and tear down of furnaces. - Identify material coming out of molds. - Load, operate and unload anneal furnaces. - Transport and ship electrodes. - Build, rebuild and repair Ladles, Launder Boxes and Stopper Rod Assemblies - Operate jib hoist and the 5 ton crane - Operate launder box drier and stopper rod drier. - Maintain logs and records. - Can up weighed out heats in correct sequence. - Follow prescribed safety regulations. - Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. NON-ESSENTIAL TASKS: - Assist raw materials, maintenance, remelt, etc., and other duties as assigned. **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:** - Required to pass IME screening - Required to pass Respirator Protection screening **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** - High school diploma or GED. - Fork truck experience. - Use ordinary arithmetic, including fractions. **We thrive when the expectations are great, and the barriers are high.
