Medical Waste Containers-Class A Haz Driver

**Daniels Health** is seeking a **CDL Hazmat Class A Driver** to join their team in Fresno, CA. **This is a full-time position (40–45 hours per week).** **Pay:** **$29.00/hour** **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** - Driving over the road - 10-14 days - Safely collecting, delivering and storing our medical waste containers at customer locations - Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships - Drop and hook (minimal live unload) - Operating vehicles in a safe manner (straight trucks and tractor trailers as large as 26 and 53 feet long) - Completing deliveries to time schedule, and clearly communicating changes or challenges as they arise - Loading and unloading | Prioritizing and organizing your truck per schedule and needs - Managing a route per leaderships direction | delivering timely, efficient and effective service - Sleeping in a sleeper tractor and getting $35 a meal per day - Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections - Heavy lifting **WHY WORK FOR US?** - Job stability – as an essential service to healthcare we are a non-seasonal and stable business - Opportunities for overtime are plentiful! - Consistent work hours – OTR trip can take up to 10 days, approximately 5AM start - Benefits – Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (Your Medical, Dental and Vision benefits are effective on DAY ONE. Accident Insurance and Voluntary long-term disability options! - Permanent position – This is a full-time direct hire role of 40-45 hours per week - Competitive salary – This position is offering a set non-negotiable rate of $29 per hour. **MINUMUM QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS** - CDL Haz Class A license with a CLEAN driving record and VALID medical card required! - Required to run out of state routes - Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse - Experience operating vehicles in a safe manner (straight trucks and tractor trailers as large as 26 and 53 feet long) **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** - Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations - Six months of driving experience with tractor trailers and/or straight trucks - Customer service skills - A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus - Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections - Confident in a road check level 1 through level 3 - On time delivery practices!
