## Description Western Wisconsin Health is looking for a full-time Medical Technologist to join our Laboratory. The Medical Technologist would be responsible for obtaining lab samples, performs accurately and efficiently all ordered lab work. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.* **Minimum Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in CLS or MT, Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technician or Laboratory Science Technician with a qualified bachelors degree and eligibility to sit for certification as a MT or CLS, or other acceptable qualifying track as noted on an acceptable MT or CLS certification’s website. - Certificate from Board of Registry from ASCP or NCA for MT or CLS within 9 months of hire **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** - Working knowledge of: o Advanced scientific principles o Procedural and research aspects of laboratory testing. o Windows software - Ability to perform all laboratory testing and appropriate equipment maintenance and trouble shooting in the department - Ability to work independently on delegated projects and solve interdepartmental problems with clear communication - Maintain the integrity of highly confidential business and patient information - Display and promote high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational standards - Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills - Working knowledge of electronic medical records - Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently **Work schedule:** - 1.0 FTE - 80 hours per biweekly pay period - 8-hour shifts - Weekend and Holiday rotation **ABOUT WESTERN WISCONSIN HEALTH** Western Wisconsin Health is an integrated hospital and family practice clinic located in Western Wisconsin, just 30 minutes from downtown St. Paul on I-94.
