Full-Time Home Health Medical Records Clerk Hours Need: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Make a real difference in your community! We offer: Great culture and team atmosphere Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, disability) 401(k) retirement plan with a generous company match Generous time off accruals Paid holidays Tuition Reimbursement Employee Referral Program Merit Increases Employee Discount Programs Work/life balance What You�ll Do: Perform all medical record organization, including assembling new charts, performing initial audit, maintenance of chart organization and filing, and performing periodic audits for completeness of medical records Perform word processing of physician orders, including initial certification signatures, recertification signatures, and other orders Fax lab reports and other reports to physicians or other agencies involved in clients� care Assemble mailings Participate in special projects as directed Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department Qualifications: Be eighteen (18) years of age Have one (1) year general office experience Possess knowledge of medical terminology and previous experience with general clerical duties or the equivalent education and/or training Demonstrate ability to work with little supervision and make appropriate judgments in regard to work functions Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills necessary to complete job responsibilities Must have reliable transportation, current driver's license and appropriate automobile insurance; or ability to take public transportation Ready to Make a Difference?
