Medical Receptionist

## Job description We are a busy medical practice that specializes in orthopedics, spine surgery, neurosurgery, and interventional pain medicine. Our practice is searching for a full time Medical Receptionist who can assist with administrative duties involved with check in/out, maintaining patient files, responding to medical records requests, and answering phones. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Check-in or check-out - Assist with answering the telephone and responding to voicemails and emails - Sorting faxes - Obtain external medical reports as required by medical professionals - Respond to requests for medical records from outside sources - Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality **REQUIREMENTS:** - High school diploma/GED - Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures - Friendly demeanor and positive attitude - Must be able to multi-task - Basic knowledge of standard medical terminology - Able to maintain the confidentiality of private information - Excellent customer service skills including phone, written, and verbal communication skills
