Our environment is filled with hard-working, dynamic individuals who come together to ensure the success of our partner dermatologists. ## Job Description - Patient scheduling, reminder calls, follow-up appointments - Checking in patients, verifying insurance as well as updating patient demographics in PMS . - Filing, faxing, scanning, general clerical work - Knowledge and desire to navigate practice Website and follow up patient inquiries from website. - Communicating with patients via phone as well as office email ## Qualifications - The ability to understand and differentiate between patient insurances; commercial plans vs Medicare. Must be able and willing to accurately enter patient information in system. - Must have strong computer and technology skills - Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills with patients, providers and coworkers. - Positive attitude to contribute to the existing AWESOME environment in the office(s). - Punctuality is a must and have reliable transportation as we cover two locations. - Must be a team player, able and willing to follow directions and eager to learn ## Additional Information Job Type: - Full-time Monday to Friday (7:30 to 4:30) - Waterbury and Southbury locations Experience: - Medical experience a plus but not needed – we will train – but you must want to be a part of an awesome team and to grow with us. - Dermatology experience is preferred Education: - High School Diploma
