Medical Receptionist

Our mission is to raise the standards of recovery and provide hope, healing, and a path forward for every individual who walks through our doors. **Summary:** We are currently hiring for a Medical Receptionist for our Hamilton location. In this position, you will greet clients and visitors entering our clinic, check clients in for their appointments, notify clinical staff of client's arrival, and other general front desk administrative duties. This position is **full-time** working **Monday through Friday** 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with the possibility of occasional **Saturdays** 9:00 am to 11:00 am. **Responsibilities:** - Welcome patients and visitors to the office by **greeting patients** and visitors in person or over the telephone - Answering inquiries or **referring questions** to other staff members - Schedules appointments - Assists patients as necessary - Telephone taxis or family members when necessary for **transportation** - Maintains reception area in a **neat and orderly** condition - Assists patients with **insurance papers** and billing questions - Opens and **sorts office mail** - Delivers outgoing mail to the post office at end of day - Participates in the **medical office emergency** routine when required - Summons ambulance or EMS or assists other staff members as needed. **Qualifications:** - High school **diploma/GED** is required - At least two-years of training or experience in customer service and office work - Computer proficiency strong **verbal and written communication** skills - Ability to work **independently** - Good **organizational** skills. **Benefits:** - Medical, Dental, & Vision Heath Insurance - Company Paid Life Insurance - Affiliated with the STAR program, assist employees in paying off student loans - Tuition Reimbursement program - Paid Time-Off - 6 paid Holidays off
